What do these things have to do with VBS and Jesus? 

 

Because our 2008 VBS theme was Power Lab - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power, we were able to create an atmosphere that was not only fun but provided many spiritual and educational moments.  With a lot of help from our RCP family, the youth learned about the power that Jesus gives us to be thankful, to be helpful, to be brave, to live forever and to tell others of the good news by conducting experiments, making "green" crafts, singing inspirational songs and listening to the puppets perform daily Bible lessons.

 

We had almost 150 children attend every day. And for the third year in a row, St. Elizabeth Seton and RCP have created community support by sharing our decorations together along with other local churches. 

 

Many thanks to all of the volunteers for making this VBS a great success!
